Specialists of AxisMundi. Switzerland  – Jerome Lhost and Ecaterina Cojuhari conducted public speaking and media training at The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) on February 24, 2023. The participants – representatives of the Islamic Development Bank of the managerial level from different bank hubs learned and practiced many techniques for successful public speaking. They also plunged into the media world with all its intricacies, learning many clues for confident interaction with journalists.

Jerome Lhost session was dedicated to the theory and practice of how to organize and articulate thoughts, how to work and develop a voice, and body language, how to cope with emotions and stress. Finally, they learned how to feel more self-assured when speaking to others. Public speaking training helped participants to build confidence.

During the media training session, Ecaterina Cojuhari explained the specifics of journalistic work, how to avoid misunderstandings, how to improve interaction with journalists, and how to build bridges with the media. The 18 participants of the training received tips and tricks for successful communication with journalists. They were able to practice interviews, improving their clear communication skills and overcoming fears in interaction with the media, turning it into an opportunity.

The public speaking and media training helped participants to develop essential skills in building confidence, improving communication, creating networking opportunities, and developing leadership abilities.
